Job summary

CHS is looking for a Transportation Supervisor to join our Lewistown, ID team, directing drivers across a regional scope and coordinating with DOT Safety, Dispatch, Fleet Management, and Maintenance.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and experience with TMS/telematics. You will manage hiring with HR, optimize schedules, and ensure safety programs and regulatory compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain and transportation/logistics.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with DOT compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Own the initial communication loop to fleet maintenance for repairs.
• Ensure driver regulatory and safety compliance.
• Manage a team of drivers across multiple units and review performance.
• Coordinate hiring processes with HR and Talent Acquisition.
• Coordinate driver schedules using TMS/telematics and manual planning.
• Support EH&S in training and safety program delivery.
• Report IRP/IFTA Distance & Fuel Log.
• Follow company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
