Job summary

Roadrunner seeks a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead fleet maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive cost-efficient performance across the network.

The role requires leadership of maintenance strategies for Class 8 tractors and trailers, data-driven decision making, and strong vendor partnerships, with up to 25% travel. Onsite Dallas, TX location with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; technical school training or equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in fleet maintenance, mechanical systems, reliability and cost analysis.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership in maintenance ops or regional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Class 8 truck and van trailer maintenance and trailer systems.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, CARB, CSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fleet Maintenance Strategy & Compliance across regional facilities, ensuring regulatory standards and cost controls.
• Drive Fleet Reliability & Operational Performance for tractors and trailers; improve downtime and availability.
• Optimize Costs & Vendor Performance through spend analysis, vendor audits, and strategic sourcing.
• Standardize Processes & Continuous Improvement with SWIs and data-driven reporting across locations.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with terminal ops, safety, and leadership teams.
