Job summary

Firematic is seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Fire Equipment in Milford, MA to lead a sales team and drive growth across an assigned territory. You will build relationships with fire departments, municipalities, contractors, distributors, and industrial customers while identifying opportunities and delivering profitable growth.

You’ll coach and develop team members, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with operations, purchasing, and finance to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in fire service or related industries.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proven track record of growing customers and profitable sales growth.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities across a territory.
• Proficiency with CRM and MS Office; valid driver's license; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team with clear goals and accountability.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the assigned territory.
• Build trusted relationships with fire chiefs, municipalities, contractors, distributors, and industrial customers.
• Collaborate on major opportunities with reps: pricing, negotiations, and product selection.
• Manage pipeline, forecasts, revenue, gross profit, and territory performance.
• Partner with operations, service, purchasing, finance, manufacturers, and suppliers for customer commitments.
• Stay informed on market needs, trends, and competitor activity.
