Terracon in Springfield, MO is seeking an Accounts Payable / Billing Associate to coordinate project registrations, billing, collections and procurement for engineering projects. Under supervision, you’ll prepare routine billing and ensure invoices go out on schedule with proper backup.

You’ll maintain electronic project files, review registrations against contracts, open/close tasks, add change orders, and assist with vendor onboarding and expense processing while following QA guidelines and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field; or HS diploma with 2+ years accounting experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication for internal coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare routine billing for designated projects within contractual agreements and billing cycles.
• Review project registrations to ensure accuracy against contracts and client requirements.
• Maintain electronic project files related to financial documentation.
• Generate draft invoices and obtain internal approvals prior to client delivery.
• Assist with collections and coordinate with PMs, finance, and management.
• Assist with procurement tasks and supplier onboarding.
• Follow safety rules, maintain QA standards, and support project documentation.
