Job summary

Terracon is seeking a detail-driven Finance Project Billing Specialist to support project registrations, billing, collections and procurement for multiple engineering projects in the Powell Valley area. You will work under supervision to prepare routine billing, ensure compliance with contracts and internal controls, and attach backup for client invoices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field. Or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years’ accounting related experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills for internal coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with timely review of project registrations and ensure information matches contracts and client requirements.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and add executed change orders.
• Maintain electronic project files related to financial documentation.
• Apply QA guidelines for project document management.
• Assist Regional Finance team with billing and WIP management, including scheduling.
• Generate draft invoices and route for internal review and client delivery.
• Follow up on past-due invoices and resolve AR issues with PMs.
• Fill out onboarding forms for new suppliers and create requisitions.
• Create receipts for invoices and reconcile office credit card expenses.
• Follow safety rules and maintain quality standards on all projects.
