Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Finance/Accounts focused professional to coordinate project registration, billing, collection, and procurement for engineering consulting projects in Chattanooga, TN. Under supervision, you will prepare routine billing, ensure invoices align with contracts, and attach supporting documentation.

You will assist with project setup and maintenance, maintain financial documents, and support the regional finance team with WIP and collections activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with accounting experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Good communication skills for internal coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine billing for designated projects within contractual terms and deadlines.
• Review project registrations against contracts and client requirements.
• Open/close tasks and maintain electronic project files.
• Create requisitions and receipts for goods/services; manage procure-to-pay steps.
• Collaborate with Finance team to maintain billing schedules and AR collections.
• Assist with CMELMS responsibilities and ensure safety and quality standards on projects.
