Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a Regional Service Technician to manage an assigned service zone and support other zones to ensure service calls meet the Service Level Agreement. This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel and a strong focus on customer service in a retail/office environment.

You will use a web-based ticketing system to log calls, monitor parts, maintain your vehicle, and adhere to safety standards while delivering reliable IT hardware/software support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AS/BS Degree in a related technical field highly desired but not required.
• Industry Certifications such as A+, Net+, Server+ or similar are highly desired.
• Minimum 1 year POS repair, network equipment repair and PC repair experience desired.
• Experience in break-fix or network repair in retail/office setting preferred.
• Must be safety oriented with clean driving habits and a good MVR.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service zone and assist other zones to meet SLA.
• Maintain vehicle in a high state of repair and cleanliness if assigned.
• Record mileage if using personal vehicle and maintain vehicle records.
• Troubleshoot to support IT hardware/software in retail/office environments.
• Follow inventory procedures for inbound/outbound parts and returns.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain tickets in the system.
