Job summary

Sagent LLC is hiring a Field Service Technician to support customers across an assigned regional territory, servicing grocery, deli, and retail equipment. The role is hands-on and customer-facing, with travel throughout the territory and most technicians returning home nightly.

You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install equipment, while maintaining tools and documenting service work. Training is provided and company-supported safety, quality, and regulatory standards apply.

Qualifications

• Meets technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and PC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations.
• Diagnose equipment issues and propose solutions.
• Communicate findings to customers and complete service docs.
• Manage service calls and maintain tools and parts.
• Work with tech support and other technicians.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
