Job summary

Sagent is hiring a Field Service Technician to service equipment across a regional Florida territory. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install equipment in grocery, deli, and retail environments, often working independently with company support.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem‑solving skills.
• Experience installing, repairing, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Experience with electromechanical systems, electronics, instrumentation, equipment repair, maintenance, IT hardware, or a related technical field.
• Ability to learn new equipment, technology, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage a field‑based schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation and residence within the assigned service territory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and PC‑based equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and equipment installations
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Work directly with customers to communicate findings and completed service work
• Manage service calls and required documentation throughout your day
• Maintain company‑issued tools, equipment, and assigned service parts
• Partner with technical support and other Field Service Technicians when additional expertise is needed
• Follow applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
