Job summary

Sagent is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate commercial equipment in grocery, deli, retail, and related environments. This hands-on, customer-facing role offers independence with training and regional travel, with technicians typically returning home nightly.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot diverse equipment.
• Experience with electromechanical systems, electronics, or IT hardware is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Technical education and hands-on experience are valued.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and PC-based equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs, and equipment installations.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Work directly with customers to communicate findings and completed service work.
• Manage service calls and required documentation throughout your day.
• Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and assigned service parts.
• Partner with technical support and other Field Service Technicians when additional expertise is needed.
• Follow applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
