Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations, performing installs, repairs and relocations of POS and vending equipment, with training and preventive maintenance for customers.

You will handle on-site service calls, communicate value of services, troubleshoot communications within retail sites, maintain records, and work with the Data Center to ensure timely support. Some weekend/evening work and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Background check and clean driving record required.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift 35+ pounds and occasional ladder use.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations (install, removals, preventive maintenance, and service orders).
• Provide a positive customer experience using technical and service skills.
• Communicate service value and align products with customer needs.
• Perform field repairs, including installation and relocation of equipment with minimal supervision.
• Manage company vehicle per guidelines and keep records up to date.
• Coordinate with Data Center to ensure timely service at each location.
• Document service calls and report data communication issues to management.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail site and respond to issues promptly.
• Train customers on equipment usage and capabilities.
• Assist in training new and existing team members as needed.
