Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead a regional service team focused on power transformers within electric substation systems.

You will manage operational performance, financial results, project execution, staffing, and customer satisfaction across the region. The role requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, and a passion for developing teams while delivering excellent service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with ability to apply and communicate technical concepts.
• Experience in utility or electrical services, specifically power transformers.
• Strong leadership, organizational and business management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional profit and loss performance, forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Develop and manage a field service team including hiring, training, and certification.
• Oversee execution of service projects: scheduling, subcontractors, procurement, contracts, and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers and field crews.
• Supervise projects at job sites as needed.
• Review field testing data and approve final project reports for customers.
• Support sales through customer relationships, quotes, scope reviews, and technical presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
