Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Power Transformer Field Service Manager to oversee field service activities from the Denver Kingston Service Center. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, relocation, installation, and start-up support for transformers at customer facilities.

You will lead a team, define project scopes, prepare cost estimates, and manage schedules while ensuring safety, quality and performance. Travel across the United States will be required.

Qualifications

• Five years of power transformer field service experience on 230kV class equipment or higher.
• Deep understanding of power transformer construction and maintenance.
• Experience with special transformers preferred.
• Two years of experience managing teams in a union environment preferred.
• Strong communication with customers, technicians and leadership.
• Knowledge of HR, budgeting, contracts, and P&L preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and testing software (Doble, Vanguard, Omicron).
• Familiar with Traverse ERP and DOMO BI.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.
• Safety training: OSHA 10/30, MSHA 30 CFR Part 48 A or B, NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary commercial spokesperson for the Power Transformer Field Service Business.
• Meet with customers and IPS Account Managers to define project scopes of work.
• Lead quotations activities for field service projects including cost estimations.
• Coordinate technician/equipment/project schedules and communicate plans.
• Work with customers to receive POs and drive value.
• Provide leadership support and after-hours availability when needed.
