Job summary

Oryx Dental Software is seeking a Field Sales Representative to expand our presence across SMB dental practices in the Bay Area. You will own the territory, travel to practices, and drive new business with consultative selling.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Clinical teams to deliver tailored demonstrations and ensure smooth onboarding for new customers. Strong communication and CRM discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in field sales, healthcare, dental, medical devices, or SaaS.
• Strong hunter mentality with outbound prospecting and territory development.
• Comfortable engaging directly with clinicians and practice managers, both virtually and in person.
• Excellent communicator who can simplify complex workflows and build trust quickly.
• Highly organized, with strong CRM hygiene (HubSpot experience preferred).
• Familiarity with the dental industry, DSO ecosystem, or medical field sales is a strong plus—but not required.
• Self-starter with the drive to win in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed revenue targets for new SMB customer acquisition, including single-location practices and emerging DSOs/DPOs.
• Manage the full sales cycle: territory research, cold outreach, field visits, qualification, discovery, demo facilitation, and close.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline across general dentists, specialists, and group practice stakeholders.
• Field-based role requiring ~80% travel within the assigned territory, with the remaining ~20% working from a home office for administrative work, planning, and follow-up.
