Job summary

MSA Safety in Pittsburgh is seeking a results-driven Sales Professional to grow our environmental, health and safety product lines across Western PA, parts of WV and Eastern KY. You will build and manage key accounts, develop distribution channels, and drive strategic initiatives to increase market share.

The role requires 30–40% travel, strong presentation and CRM skills, and the ability to translate voice of the customer into actionable product feedback while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; multiple career levels based on experience.
• Travel 30–40% domestically in the designated geographic area.
• Demonstrated selling and account management skills with regional partners.
• Experience selling fall protection, gas protection and respiratory protection.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales and market share of MSA’s complete line of environmental, health and safety products to industrial, construction and commercial customers.
• Successfully implement strategies and tactics relating to target markets and segments.
• Manage, support, and lead a network of regional and national distribution partners.
• Maintain active working relationships with the region’s largest end-users and focus on developing and closing opportunities at all top accounts with special focus on competitive conversions.
• Effectively communicate voice of customer (VOC) feedback into our new product development process and to other stakeholders.
• Provide support and training for our stakeholders by using tools such as evaluations, demonstrations, web casting, joint sales calls, MSA meeting presentations and targeted business development calls.
• Report and track trends/conditions, competitive activity and sales opportunities into a CRM program.
• Leverage internet and social media tools to complete research and share product information or solutions.
