Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Texas is seeking a first-level manager to supervise Field Service Technicians and the operation of compressor packages and rentals within one Area. You will collaborate with Supervisors and Technicians to troubleshoot, and ensure safe, efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes developing a capable field team, coordinating maintenance with regional teams, and meeting performance metrics.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with gas compression equipment and related field service operations.
Proven ability to lead technicians and communicate with supervisors and customers.
Experience with OEM equipment training and safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise Field Service Technicians and operation of compressor packages within one Area.
Hire, train, and develop Technicians and Supervisors; assess performance.
Schedule routine maintenance and repairs; ensure 98% mechanical availability.
Engage with customers, attend meetings, and coordinate with Sales as needed.
Maintain safety standards and participate in HSE initiatives; report metrics.
