Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Laredo, TX, is seeking an intermediate level Field Technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment onsite while supporting field operations. You will troubleshoot repairs, maintain equipment availability above 98%, and build strong customer relationships.

Also, you will participate in safety meetings, complete area reports, and be available for on-call rotations, including overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years related field/industry experience preferred.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program plus field experience is a plus.
• 3+ years compression/production/equipment related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Direct, coordinate and perform field activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Communicate parts/inventory needs to Supply Chain for optimal job performance.
• Maintain 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
