Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager/Electrical in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventive maintenance of our facilities in a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient, safe, and sustainable operations for associates and customers.

The role requires 50% travel, maintaining contractor licenses, and collaboration with store managers and leadership, along with reporting, analytics, and staying compliant with codes.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal.
• Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
• Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
• Communication/Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region and maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in the state of employment.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Prepare reports and perform analytics on facilities activities.
• Keep contractor licenses up to date to stay in good standing with authorities.
• Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements, including site inspections for compliance and quality.
• Obtain and schedule necessary permits and inspections per building codes.
