Job summary

GDI Ainsworth is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee Facilities Soft Services and manage third-party providers across an assigned region. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will lead technicians and coordinators to deliver janitorial, event support, landscaping, pest control, waste management, mailroom, and laundry services for a premier automotive client.

The ideal candidate has strong facilities management, operational leadership, and HES expertise, with a focus on service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct IFM leadership (e.g., Janitorial Manager, Operations Manager) or a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or management with at least 3 years of direct operational leadership experience.
• Experience operating within CMMS platforms (eMaint, Maximo).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines and project outcomes.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English is required; bilingual (Spanish/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Soft Services operations including janitorial, MAC, event coordination, landscaping, pest control, waste management, mailroom, and laundry.
• Interface with customers to ensure workflow and timely outcomes.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and follow-ups across facility services.
• Ensure work records are accurate and properly documented.
• Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual performance reporting based on Quality Control Plan measures.
• Participate in budgeting and cost-saving opportunities.
• Promote safety compliance with HES standards.
• Lead a team of technicians and third-party providers; develop staff.
• Participate in client performance reviews and ensure alignment with client expectations.
