Job summary

GDI Ainsworth is seeking a dynamic facilities leader to oversee Soft Services and third‑party providers across an assigned region. You will lead technicians and coordinators to deliver janitorial, MAC, event support, landscaping, pest control, waste management, mailroom, and laundry services for a premier automotive client.

The role emphasizes operational leadership, safety, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning service delivery, budgeting, and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct IFM leadership or a bachelor’s degree in hospitality/management with 3+ years of leadership
• Experience operating within CMMS platforms (eMaint, Maximo)
• Strong detail orientation and ability to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma)
• Strong written and verbal communication across all organizational levels
• Ability to produce and communicate detailed reports
• English fluency required; bilingual (Spanish/French) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee Soft Services operations including janitorial, MAC, event coordination, landscaping, pest control, waste management, mailroom and laundry
• Interface with customers to ensure workflow and timely service outcomes
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and follow-ups across facility services
• Maintain accurate work records and documentation
• Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual performance reporting
• Participate in budget development and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
