Job summary

Darden Restaurants Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee 100–120 restaurants across multiple states, ensuring building systems operate reliably and assets are protected.

You will supervise contractors, coordinate capital projects, and lead contingency responses with Operations teams. The role requires strong project management, engineering/constructive expertise, and the ability to train staff on maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ multi-unit building management experience, preferably in food service.
• 7+ years’ experience in general construction and maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC/Chillers, cooking equipment, and general building systems.
• Adept at leveraging technology - Microsoft Office Suite, Mobile Devices, Video Telephone products, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regularly scheduled restaurant audits and recommends capital improvements.
• Develops annual capital and expense project lists and aligns with Operations and Finance.
• Coaches and trains Management to perform minor repairs and maintain safety.
• Leads emergency/disaster response for Darden properties as needed.
• Manages capital projects: scopes of work, bids, scheduling, supervision, inspection, and budget.
• Represents Darden with regulators and at meetings as required.
• Performs project management for facility refreshes or brand initiatives.
