Job summary

Northstar Restaurant Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and capital improvements across all restaurants, ensuring safety and high-quality operations.

The role requires hands-on management of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and kitchen systems, contractor oversight, and multi-state regulatory compliance. On-site work at supporting offices and restaurants is expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Proven track record managing contractors and vendors.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair activities across all restaurants.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations escalations.
• Evaluate repairs to determine internal vs. external/vendor handling.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors ensuring quality work.
• Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance.
• Develop long-term replacement plans for equipment and facilities.
