Job summary

Leap Brands is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee the repair and maintenance program for franchised restaurant units within a defined region. The role provides leadership to facility technicians and external vendors to ensure safe, well‑maintained restaurants aligned with brand standards.

The incumbent will manage budgets, coordinate capital projects, and collaborate with store operations, construction, and public agencies to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience and/or education in Quick-Service Restaurant Facilities.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV report.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-starter and team player.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good technology skills to use CMMS and Apps.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; drives process improvements.
• High level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to facility technicians and outside vendors within assigned territory.
• Monitor work to ensure timely completion and adherence to company standards.
• Reconcile weekly service invoices including billed time, parts, and equipment history.
• Oversee preventive maintenance with technicians and/or vendors.
• Review and approve outside service invoices for work performed.
• Conduct site visits with vendors and multi-unit managers to resolve facility issues.
• Develop cost-effective action plans to maintain facilities and support operations.
• Coordinate capital maintenance projects within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with store ops, contractors, public agencies, and internal staff to complete repairs on time.
• Use EMS, CMMS, GPS and iPads for management, analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance to franchisees and exercise independent judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
