Job summary

SyRES PROPERTIES is seeking a Regional Manager, Facilities to lead portfolio-wide operations across a growing multi-state multifamily portfolio. The role acts as the technical resource for building systems, maintenance standards, and vendor management, while ensuring asset preservation and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on facilities expertise, can coach teams without direct supervision, and will help establish scalable maintenance programs, SOPs, training resources, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in multifamily maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire/life-safety).
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs and operating standards.
• Experience coaching and developing maintenance personnel.
• Willingness to travel across portfolio (CA, NV, OR, WA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain portfolio-wide maintenance standards and procedures.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and apartment turns; manage work orders.
• Provide technical leadership to onsite maintenance teams and supervisors.
• Manage vendor sourcing, scope development, and contract oversight.
• Support regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety practices.
• Monitor maintenance performance and reporting to leadership.
