Job summary

Walmart seeks a Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventive maintenance for our facilities in a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings run efficiently, safely, and sustainably for associates and customers.

The role requires managing licenses, permits, training, inspections, and analytics, while collaborating with store managers and external vendors to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber with 5 years of facilities management or related experience.
• Or 3 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management or related field.
• Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Travel 50% or more within the region.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Prepare reporting and analytics.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and permits; comply with codes.
• Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements; conduct site inspections for quality and safety.
