Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Regional Manager of Facilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of multiple school facilities across various states. The role requires ensuring contracts meet specifications, staying within budgets, and coordinating preventive maintenance with in-house staff and contractors.

The position involves managing safety, code compliance, and capital projects, while liaising with school administration, vendors, and boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; preferred majors include construction, project management, business, personnel administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of property/facilities management experience and/or construction trade experience.

• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Supervisor(s) with scheduling and tracking work orders, including preventive maintenance work orders.
• Assist the VP of Facilities with day to day operations of a portfolio educational facilities and properties.
• Create and build preventative maintenance processes and monitoring systems for extended life of facility related components.
• Develop Repair and Maintenance budgets, annual and long term Capital Improvement budgets.
• Develop, compile, implement, and maintain detailed records and tracking systems for facilities operations and maintenance costs, contracts, and expenditures for multiple locations.
• Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of multiple facilities, in and out of state, ensuring code and contract compliance with local governing charter boards, school districts, health, fire, and building departments, EPA, and other governing agencies.
