Job summary

U.S. Pipe is seeking a Fabrication Sales Manager to lead the marketing, specification, and sale of fabricated pipe and related products in the Northeast region, covering NJ, PA, DE, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH and ME.

The role demands strong account development, presentations to engineers, and strategic pricing within budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a BS in a related field and at least five years of direct industry selling experience, with excellent communication and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Business, Management, Marketing, or Engineering, or the equivalent of five years continuous direct industry selling experience.
• Five years’ experience demonstrating mastery of selling the company’s products and managing complex sales orders.

Responsibilities

• Implements the marketing strategy for fabricated pipe, fittings and all USP products, establishes new accounts, negotiates new contracts, sells and services established accounts, customers, and end users.
• Builds and maintains internal and external customer relationships, including direct customers, end users, design engineers and firms, municipal engineers, specifiers, contractors.
• Comprehends and deploys industry knowledge, product knowledge and expertise and educates and promotes the industry, company, and products.
• Solves problems involving customer relations, complaints, data analysis of competitive products and pricing, and distribution channels.
• Prepares and delivers demonstrations and presentations.
