Job summary

Orange EV is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and support electric vehicles in the Columbus region. You will analyze Remote Monitoring System data, perform field upgrades, and assist with training for operators and maintenance staff.

The role requires 1+ years in automotive or electrical fields, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads. You will work with the service team to plan regional service strategies and support sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in automotive or electrical industries.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word/TEAMS) and general computer skills.
• Strong customer service principles and problem-solving ability.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally 75–100 lbs, and work in varied positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform field service for Orange EV vehicles.
• Record all service activity and generate pertinent reports.
• Collaborate with customers and third-party service providers.
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing teams.
• Plan and execute field service strategies for the region.
• Travel as required for training and to meet service goals.
