Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in Fresno is seeking a Product Specialist for Vermeer to drive customer success and growth. You’ll be a trusted advisor to customers and sales teams, delivering value-added solutions and maximizing market share in the region.

Responsibilities include leading market growth, developing relationships, presenting equipment packages, and coordinating deliveries with on-site training to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Independent work ethic and ability to manage territory priorities.
• Prior sales experience and/or training in equipment or related industry.
• Understanding of local market conditions and customer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills and use of internal systems for tracking/reporting.
• Dedication to safety, teamwork, and representing the company.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Increase market share and profitability for aftermarket products within your territory.
• Build strong industry relationships and monitor market activity and opportunities.
• Develop equipment packages, set pricing, pre-qualify customers, and present proposals.
• Schedule and conduct product demos and technical presentations.
• Coordinate machine deliveries and provide onsite operation and maintenance training.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with store leadership, sales teams, and partners on topics.
• Identify additional parts, service, and sales opportunities and refer leads.
• Provide ongoing product training to customers and internal teams.
