Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Services Group (QISG) is seeking a Manager, Environmental Services to lead regional environmental delivery, manage client relationships, and align front-end scope with PMO guidance.

You will oversee permitting across federal, state, and local frameworks, mentor staff, and drive project controls and reporting, delivering high-quality environmental outcomes for transmission and energy infra programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources, or a closely related field.
• 15+ years of progressive environmental project management experience, including supervisory responsibility.
• Front-end environmental lifecycle experience for transmission infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, CWA, ESA, NHPA and permitting frameworks.
• Leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and multi-project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Regional leadership and client relationship management for major utility clients within a defined geographic region.
• Oversee environmental scope delivery across the regional portfolio, including OpUs and teaming partners.
• Manage federal, state, and local environmental permitting across transmission and energy infrastructure.
• Oversee third-party environmental consultants and subconsultants, ensuring performance and contractual obligations.
• Mentor junior environmental professionals and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
• Embed environmental milestones into integrated project schedules and provide portfolio status reporting to PMO.
