Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Services Group (QISG) seeks an experienced Project Manager, Environmental Operations to lead environmental programs on energy infrastructure projects. You will manage client relationships, coordinate pre-construction permitting, and drive compliance across construction activities, reporting to the Environmental PMO.

The role requires strong communication, cross-team collaboration, and proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget for complex projects in a regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science or closely related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive environmental project management experience preferred.
• Experience with pre-construction permitting and construction compliance.
• Familiarity with federal and state permitting for transmission/energy projects.
• Knowledge of biological, avian, botanical, wetland, and cultural resource surveys.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project-level environmental lead, managing client relationships and delivering on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee environmental permitting, SWPPP/SPCC plans, and related compliance across multiple projects.
• Coordinate across engineering, construction, and regulatory teams to embed environmental requirements in project plans.
• Manage OpUs, teaming partners, consultants, and field staff to meet standards and timelines.
• Track risks, budgets, and reporting; ensure complete environmental closeout and documentation.
