Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Columbus, OH seeks a Regional Engineering Supervisor to support the Senior Engineering Manager in managing Engineering Studies and Protection & Controls. You will coordinate, strategize, and lead efforts to maintain and grow the business units.

The role requires directing engineers, collaborating with service centers and sales to grow pipeline, and ensuring project execution aligns with schedules and budgets. Travel ~25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 10 years of Vertiv product knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers focused on professional engineering services.
• Drive pipeline growth with Service Center Managers and Sales.
• Lead backlog reviews and ensure timely closure.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings and schedule changes.
• Assist in project scope reviews and pricing feedback.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate status, financials, and regional needs to stakeholders.
• Ensure the team is trained and properly equipped.
• Review costs and margin slippage; implement cost-reduction measures.
• Monitor utilization and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with the Manila team on project execution.
• Coordinate with COE Admin and Service Center Managers on jobs.
• Serve as primary contact for Service Centers regarding COE issues.
• Perform engineering studies and protection and controls work as needed.
• Perform additional duties as business needs change.
