Job summary

You’ll manage capital budgets up to $50 million, oversee diverse engineering teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop talent while delivering safe, high-quality production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
• Ability to apply sound engineering principles to operational/design issues.
• PM skills; Contract Administration skills; interpretation of national codes and standards.
• Proficient in engineering economics.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team members to cover multiple plants, overseeing Project Engineering teams and projects; manage diverse engineering reports to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Manage Annual Capital Budget up to $50mm; align with strategic objectives and resource optimization.
• Oversee development of production technologies and technical improvements; ensure troubleshooting capabilities for major outages.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local engineering codes; maintain high standards for Quality and Food Safety.
• Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing engineering teams; collaborate with HR on leadership development and workforce diversity.
