Job summary

Maniilaq Association in Kotzebue, Alaska is seeking a Regional Development/Instructor Specialist I–III to build and sustain regional EMS education programs. You will develop partnerships, recruit and mentor instructors, and deliver AHA training and Alaska EMS curricula.

The role emphasizes customer service, community engagement, and logistics management across regional sites. The position reports to the EMS Program Manager, offers full-time hours, and requires flexible travel, including weekends

Qualifications

• Current certification to instruct American Heart Association classes is required.
• Must be eligible to be certified as a State of Alaska EMT.
• Must obtain Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) certification or start within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support EMS education.
• Plan, schedule, and instruct AHA Heartsaver and BLS courses within program guidelines.
• Manage enrollment systems and ensure timely issuance of certifications.
• Coordinate regional trainings and support new instructors in region.
