Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking an EMS instructor to teach basic life support, first aid, and related emergency courses. You will prepare required paperwork and reports for classes and assist the Regional EMS Office in program activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior instructional experience, and current CPR/First Aid and EMT1 or higher certification. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment in Bethel, Alaska.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience instructing or teaching.
• Current CPR/First Aid, EMT1 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Teaches basic life support, first aid and related emergency courses and prepares all associated paperwork and reports for classes.
• Promotes public awareness of injury prevention and participates in direct interventions to prevent injuries from occurring.
