Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation in Dillingham, AK is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Course Coordinator to support training initiatives, coordinate with instructors, and organize courses regionwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete AHA BLS Instructor Certification and ETT Instructor within one year of hire.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to foster cooperative relationships with community partners.
• Capable of independent work or teamwork with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary administrative support to the EMS Program, prioritizing work to ensure timely completion.
• Compiles, organizes, and presents data for EMS quality reporting; maintains confidential material and records.
• Assists with day-to-day training needs including answering phones, scheduling courses, maintaining rosters, and email inquiries.
• Conducts outreach with tribes, schools, city governments regionwide to promote courses and emergency preparedness.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The EMS Course Coordinator supports BBAHC's training initiatives via community outreach, coordinating with subject-matter experts/instructors, and providing routine training opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must successfully complete American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Certification and Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) Instructor certification within one year of hire. EMT-I preferred.
• Validated demonstration of strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Evidenced ability to foster cooperative working relationships with community partners.
• Displayed ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to complete office procedures, operate computer equipment, and use principles of filing and record keeping with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
