Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 10 years of related experience with at least 3 years in supervisory/management roles.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and administers estimating functions in assigned region or group, including budgets, staffing, and work assignments.
• Implements estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Negotiates purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders during procurement with project managers.
• Prepares market cost studies and recommends changes to databases.
• Reviews project details and collaborates on strategies, resources, and techniques.
• Ensures standardized use of estimating systems and maintenance of cost databases.
• Maintains historical data for estimating man-hours and bid results by project.
• Reviews final estimate packages for accuracy and completeness for formal quotation.
