Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager to partner with regional leadership, shaping proactive safety culture and integrating EHS programs across multiple states. You will coach leaders, drive risk management, and ensure safe operations while expanding regional safety initiatives.

This role requires deep EHS expertise, strong communication, and the ability to travel frequently to field sites.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of work experience in the EHS field.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field (or HS Diploma with 5 years EHS experience).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
• Willingness to travel and expand region.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety support to the Midwest U.S. markets (OH, IN, IL, MI).
• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments across operations.
• Coach leaders and train regional staff on EHS programs.
• Audit SOPs and field safety practices; update as needed.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Visit job sites regularly to establish an EHS presence.
