Job summary

Arcosa Inc. is seeking a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead strategic EHS initiatives across 2–4 facilities within a region. The role focuses on fostering a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and integrating new facilities into corporate EHS programs.

The position requires 7–10 years of EHS leadership in manufacturing, strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT, and the ability to travel 60–75% to provide field coaching and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, utilities, or industrial operations.
• Experience leading SIF prevention initiatives and critical risk programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel 60–75% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic EHS leadership to 2–4 manufacturing facilities in the region.
• Lead standardization and continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
• Develop local ownership and accountability for EHS performance with plant leadership.
• Support integration of newly acquired or startup facilities into EHS programs.
• Drive proactive safety culture and regional safety initiatives.
• Coach supervisors and managers on safety leadership and risk recognition.
• Perform regional audits, risk assessments, and corrective action management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Operations on risk reduction.
• Support ESG initiatives including waste reduction and energy conservation.
