Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead the development and execution of EHS strategies across the division. You will coach safety leaders, oversee risk programs, and ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DHS, and state regulations.

Travel 50-70%, field presence 60%, and collaboration with corporate teams to elevate safety culture and training. Bachelor's degree in safety or environmental engineering with 7–10 years of EHS experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety, environmental engineering, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of related experience in Environmental, Health & Safety and Security compliance.
• 5 years of work experience in the water and wastewater industry, laboratory, or other utility industry.
• Successful record of coaching and developing safety engagement and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide safety leadership training, workshops, coaching and resources.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify project and region opportunities; develop risk reduction plans and support audits.
• Mentor and resource Site Safety Coordinators and Project Management.
• Lead Division training program and act as Division lead for Corporate training initiatives.
