Job summary

AWP Safety is North America’s leading traffic control and work zone safety partner, protecting crews and communities. The Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager partners with leadership to drive proactive safety culture across a designated region, coaching leaders and embedding safety into daily operations.

You will collaborate with field teams, conduct risk assessments, update SOPs, and lead training while traveling to branches and job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field with 3+ years of EHS experience or HS Diploma with 5 years EHS experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and EHS reporting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coach leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety support across the Midwest markets (OH, IN, IL, MI) with expansion.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Develop and train EHS programs; lead field-level safety guidance.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure consistent day-to-day safety practices.
• Travel ~50% to branches and job sites; foster safety culture.
• Lead meetings and field observations; monitor PPE use and behavior.
