Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across the Midwest region. This role partners with operations to embed proactive EHS practices, mentor leadership, and drive risk reduction through training and program design.

The ideal candidate will oversee safety audits, incident investigations, and SOP governance while facilitating strong field relationships and ongoing safety culture improvements. Travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field with 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and EHS reporting platforms.
• Willingness to travel 50% and work in field environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety support to Midwest US markets (OH, IN, IL, MI) with expansion.
• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments for EHS management.
• Maintain and update SOPs for safe work practices and equipment.
• Coach and mentor regional employees through the Management System.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Deliver EHS training and drive safety culture.
• Travel to branch locations and job sites as required.
