Alter Trading seeks a Regional EHS Coordinator in Milwaukee,WI for a full-time role reporting to the Director of Safety. You will implement safety programs, coordinate incident investigations, and train personnel across the region to meet regulatory standards.

The position requires overnight travel and collaboration with operations and environmental teams. The ideal candidate has a BS in Health and Safety, 3–5 years in heavy industrial safety, and strong communication skills with proficiency in

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Health & Safety or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of heavy industrial safety experience required.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal health and safety laws.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Safety Management Systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the safety and health program effectiveness.
• Implement processes and training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop site-specific safety practices for hazards and operations.
• Coach employees on safety issues and contractor safety expectations.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions.
