Job summary

Alter Trading Corp. is seeking a Regional EHS Coordinator in Milwaukee, WI to lead safety programs for the region and partner with facility leadership for proactive safety management.

The role requires coordinating health and safety training, incident investigations, and environmental compliance across multiple sites, with travel as needed. A strong background in heavy industrial safety and regulatory knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Health and Safety preferred; 3–5 year heavy industrial safety experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety laws.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge/experience in collecting, managing, and analyzing health & safety data.
• Must demonstrate problem-solving and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the effectiveness of the safety and health program.
• Develop site-specific safety practices and training for the region.
• Coach employees on safety issues and contractor safety programs.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate spill prevention, chemical handling, and waste management.
