Job summary

Neogen seeks a Regional EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the Northern U.S. and Canada, including manufacturing, distribution, R&D, and laboratories. The position is onsite near Madison, WI, with travel to multiple locations across the region.

You will simplify, standardize, and sustain EHS solutions, drive KPIs, and align initiatives with global standards while serving as the technical expert on regulatory compliance and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field or a science/engineering field.
• EHS certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH) a plus.
• 7+ years of direct EHS experience in biotech, pharma, chemical, or related industry.
• Experience in machine safety, hazardous waste, chemical management, and combustible dust.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (as needed).
• onsite role; remote/work-from-home not applicable.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement EHS programs to ensure injury prevention and compliance across facilities.
• Develop and execute strategic EHS, Security, and Risk Control plans.
• Oversee multi-site EHS programs including EPCRA, PSM, wastewater, and regulatory reporting.
• Serve as site POC for Oakdale R&D location and support capital projects planning.
• Lead investigations into environmental and safety incidents using root cause analysis.
• Drive KPI's for assigned EHS programs and align with governance.
