You will lead compliance with OSHA/EPA/DOT, build a proactive safety culture, and partner with site and corporate leadership to improve safety performance and readiness. The role requires 7–10 years in EHS, a master's in a related field, and CSP/CIH or equivalent certification.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
• CSP or CIH certification or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of progressive EHS experience, including multi-site leadership.

Aufgaben

• Develop, oversee regional EHS strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, coaching, and behavior-based safety practices.
• Lead incident investigations (near-misses, first aids) using root-cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Conduct regional EHS audits, risk assessments, and JHA to identify hazards and mitigate risk.
• Coordinate safety training for staff at all levels, including emergency response and materials handling.
• Collaborate with site leadership and external agencies to ensure consistent safety practices.
• Develop and test site Emergency Action Plans and crisis response procedures.
• Evaluate new equipment/procedures from an EHS perspective before rollout.
• Support regional safety committees and corporate EHS initiatives.
