Job summary

Bodycote, a leading provider of thermal processing services, seeks an EHS Regional Manager to lead Environmental Health & Safety across the East Coast region. This role collaborates with site leadership and divisional teams to ensure consistent health, safety, and environmental controls in line with Bodycote policy and local laws.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of EHS experience, strong OHSA knowledge, and a track record in multi-site leadership.

Qualifications

• This role requires ITAR compliance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or a Permanent Resident.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Degree or certification in occupational safety, environmental management, or equivalent experience.
• Profound knowledge of EHS standards and regulations (OHSA).
• Experience leading multi-site and international EHS programs.
• Proficiency with EHS digital systems and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Power BI, Planner).
• Knowledge of HAZOP, JSA, and Daily Management (SQDCP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across a global organization.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally (approximately 50%).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of EHS programs across the region, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous safety performance.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify and mitigate workplace hazards and integrate EHS into operations.
• Lead development and execution of EHS initiatives including planning, training, auditing, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct facility inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Oversee hazardous materials management, environmental controls, and health programs.
• Develop organizational EHS capability through training and engagement.
• Maintain EHS records, metrics, and reporting to support decisions and improvements.
• Stay current on regulations and best practices; adapt programs to meet requirements.
• Perform duties under EMS and company policies; support additional responsibilities as needed.
