Job summary

USIC is seeking Regional EHS Manager(s) to lead occupational safety and environmental compliance across regions, reporting to the EHS Director at the division level. The role emphasizes risk management, program development, and rigorous safety leadership to drive enterprise-wide EHS performance.

Responsibilities include driving safety culture, coordinating corrective actions, and delivering training and regulatory responses.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and safely in a corporate environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with reporting proficiency.
• Experience with safety, health, and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% as required.
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Rigorously drive EHS operationalization and accountability across regions to reduce injury and collision risk.
• Drive timely closure of due diligence corrective actions.
• Lead integration of EHS programs and continuous improvement of procedures and tools to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with regional leadership to maintain SAFE-LIFE cadence and governance.
• Produce weekly EHS metrics and reports for leadership review.
• Lead and participate in EHS training and incident investigations as required.
• Respond to OSHA/DOT/FAA issues and support EPA or other regulatory bodies as needed.
• Develop and mentor EHS professionals to implement management systems.
