Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts is seeking a skilled Dock & Door Install Technician to service a regional territory with a company vehicle. You will install dock and door systems across warehouses and facilities, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads. You will collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Operations teams to meet customer needs and promote maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of dock & door, installation, or related mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and cutting torch experience preferred.
• Experience operating lift trucks and scissor lifts preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and/or hydraulics preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Residence within the designated service area.

Responsibilities

• Install dock and door equipment efficiently and accurately while following all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete and maintain all required safety training and equipment certifications.
• Meet performance goals related to labor efficiency, work completion, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized service truck, tools, uniforms, and inventory.
• Accurately document all work performed and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
• Partner with Parts, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams, representing RSC with integrity.
• Promote service maintenance programs and support the RSC brand through excellent customer interactions.
• Remain flexible with scheduling to support customer needs.
• Drive safely throughout the service territory and maintain a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, and a positive, professional attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
