Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts is seeking a Dock & Door Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock and door equipment, including overhead doors, dock levelers, locks, safety gates, and truck shelters. You will promote service maintenance programs and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining records and inventories.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–5 years of related experience, and strong mechanical skills plus safety-conscious work habits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years' relevant experience and/or training.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Welding and cutting torch experience preferred.
• Lift truck and Scissor lift operation experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of D.C. electricity and A.C. electricity, motor control and wiring preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock & door equipment.
• Install/repair doors, dock levelers, locks, safety gates, and truck shelters.
• Promote service maintenance programs and dealership.
• Maintain service records and paperwork accurately.
• Work with dispatcher to maximize labor revenue and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and drive safely.
